Editorial Food Inspired Photoshoot
I did a shoot with a food print dress and food props!
When I found this quirky, food patterned dress, I just knew I had to do a shoot with it. This is how most of my creative ideas start- I see an outfit that I like and immediately think of how I would use it for a photoshoot.
It was pretty straight forward- we shot in my home studio with a seamless backdrop, and I set up my desk with a piece of the backdrop on it to create a table top, but making it match the background. I went out and bought the types of food that was in the pattern of the dress.
Finding inspiration to show to my model was hard... there weren't too many food/fashion photoshoots on Pinterest, but I did find some that inspired some quirky and creative posing!
I edited the photoshoot with my film inspired Lightroom presets I made. They are colorful, grainy, and overall went with the quirky vibe. I wanted the shoot to feel playful, creative, and fun, but also a bit cinematic- something like a Wes Anderson character. I had my model interact and play with the props.
