My client wanted their senior photos taken, but wanted something untraditional and a bit more representative of them than just the standard posed/stiff senior pictures. Let me tell you- there is nothing more I love than receiving inquiries about something a bit quirky and untraditional.

Senior photos have changed so much over the years- from studio portraits, where every person had the exact same pose, to something tailored to each individual's aesthetic. Now, I feel like senior photos are taken to truly commemorate a time in the person's life- who they are at the time, their style and interests. Most people don't get professional photos taken very often, so this is really a great excuse to be in front of the camera and come up with something creative!

This senior in particular loved the idea of an abandoned building for more of an edgy or grunge vibe. I did my research and remembered this building that has an industrial and abandoned feel but was still safe for myself and my clients to shoot at, because there are businesses located inside still. I even surprised my client by bringing this vintage tv and they loved it!
